What could you do differently?
Uff, what could I do differently? It’s not a hard question to answer, but if I start listing things, it might go on and on. So, I’ll focus on one thing I believe I should change: my time management. I often feel like our time on Earth is limited, yet I fail to truly acknowledge it in my daily routine. There’s a Marathi saying, “Kaltay pan valat nahi” (I understand but don’t act), which perfectly describes my struggle. I recognize the importance of managing my time better but lack the effort and discipline to make a lasting change.
Discipline—it all boils down to this one word. Oh god, how hard it is to cultivate discipline in daily life! I wonder, does everyone struggle with this, or is it just me who has been battling this for years without resolution?
With the new year beginning, I feel the need for discipline more than ever. Yet, in the age of social media distractions, it feels like an almost impossible task. Still, I am trying to get back on track, sticking to a schedule, and making a conscious effort to be consistent with positive habits. Discipline and time management are my focus, and I hope to see some real improvement this year.
