What positive events have taken place in your life over the past year?
As this year comes to an end, I find myself looking back with a quiet honesty. When I try to recall positive events from 2025, nothing immediately stands out.
Not a milestone, not a major achievement, not a dramatic change. But that doesn’t mean the year was empty. It means the year was different.
2025 was not a year of celebrations ,it was a year of survival, and I am learning that survival itself is a blessing. When life becomes heavy and unpredictable, continuing to show up becomes an achievement. And I did that consistently, bravely, quietly.
These past few years have carried a mix of highs and lows, both personally and professionally. They shaped me more than I realised at the time. I faced uncertainty, emotional storms, difficult decisions, and a sense of being stuck… yet I stayed standing. I kept moving. I kept learning.
And that, in itself, is a victory. This year, my biggest positive outcome wasn’t external. It was internal.
1. I remained hopeful even when things felt dark.
2. I protected my softness even through disappointments.
3. I stayed committed to my dreams even when delays tested me.
4. I continued growing emotionally, mentally, spiritually.
I also nurtured my health, took care of myself, and found comfort in the small things that matter like reading. I managed to read nine books this year, and each one gave me warmth, wisdom and happiness. These quiet joys are part of my story too.
So I’m ending 2025 with clarity:
This was not a year of results ,it was a year of resilience.A year that strengthened me, prepared me, and taught me what truly matters. If survival was my blessing this year, then I accept it with gratitude.
I end this year not with regret, but with a steady heart knowing that I made it through, that I’m still becoming, and that my story is far from over.
